IN ─ formal Architects are a young + dynamic practice that operates in a space of informal + formal negotiations, challenging the conventions on how we can live, work, learn + play. We design, speculate, educate + research in unison to address broader topics around social + economic sustainability and climate, rationalising that a macro approach at policy level also holds agency in micro deployment, at the scale of each single lot. 

Designing and delivering projects across Residential, Hospitality + Cultural typologies, we work closely in conversation with our teams; Clients, Consultants, Planners + Policy Makers, personalising our approach in order to develop an architectural response that is specific to the end user and their communities. We have a particular interest adaptability + flexibility, ecology + habitat, material technology, passive sustainability, and the use of a space for not only for now, but over time.
